BONNIE LYNN LEWIS (nee ENGLISH) Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2018, Bonnie passed away with family at her side. Bonnie will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband of 44 years, Jim; her daughters, Kerri (Randy) and Heather (Dollard); her grandchildren, Jesse and Jamie, and her grand fur babies, Chili, Mocha and Chiclet. Family was most important to Bonnie. Spending endless hours volunteering for her daughters' ringette and baseball teams at Richmond Kings Community Centre, as "Tawny Owl" when they were Brownies, in the school library, or canvassing the neighbourhood for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Her grandchildren were especially precious to her. Grandma enjoyed babysitting, being available at any time for them and would never miss attending their hockey games, cheer competitions or school concerts. Bonnie was always there to care for those in need, be it for family or dog sitting her grand fur babies. Bonnie often reminisced of her years working at St. Johns Ravenscourt, the CIBC Data Centre and the Time Centre. She enjoyed her numerous trips to BC, talking on the phone to friends and family, participating or watching curling and was a professional shopper. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff in the ICMS unit on the second floor of the St. Boniface Hospital who provided Bonnie with compassionate care in the last few days of her life. Cremation has taken place. A memorial tea will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at 15 Henry Pehrson Cove. We love you and will forever miss you. Until we meet again...
