ROSE PLISCHKE (BAKER) May 23, 1918 - December 22, 2018 Suddenly on December 22, 2018, Rose passed away at the age of 100, at Eastgate Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Frank; parents, John and Jennie Baker; son-in-law Clarence; granddaughter-in-law Ilene and all of her and Frank's siblings and partners, except for sister-in-law Winnie Baker. Missing her are her children, Jeannette (Ben) Tuominen, Russell (Betty), Bev Otto (George Fischer), Gord and Debbie (Larry) Okolita, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren. As per mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastgate Lodge Personal Care Home where mom received exceptional care in the Rose Unit for the past two and one half years. Mom had a long life through some tough times. She wore many hats. Thank you mom for doing the best you could with what you had.
