Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA WANIC January 4, 1929 - January 4, 2019 Peacefully, with family at her side, Anna celebrated her 90th birthday and passed away at Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her son Krzysztof (Chris) Wanic. Left to remember her are her husband Henry, of 63 years, her daughter Barbara (John), her grandchildren, Greg (Ashley), Katherine and Alana, her great-grandson Branson, and her furry friend - Franny. Anna was born in Janow Lubelski, Poland and married Henry in 1955. Together they immigrated to Canada to make Winnipeg their home in 1965. Anna was a very kind person and touched the hearts of everyone that met her. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10 at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Holy Ghost Cemetery. If you wish, donations may be made in Anna's memory to the charity of your choice. Wieczny odpoczynek racz jej dac Panie.
