GLORIA DOREEN DELANEY (nee RAMSAY) March 28, 1930 - January 7, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria Doreen Delaney (Ramsay), on January 7, 2019 at Concordia Hospital. She is predeceased by her parents, Bob and Jean Ramsay and her beloved grandson Dale Ens. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Allan Delaney; daughter Diane (Darryl) Knight; son Doug (Susan); daughter Doreen (Paul) Ens; grandchildren, Chad, Travis (Jade), Wade (Michelle), Brett (Kirstin) Evan, Jane and Nick. Mom was born in 1930 and met and married the love of her life Allan in 1951. They resided on Roberta Avenue from 1957 until 2007 when they moved to a condo on Henderson Highway and then to Concordia Village five years ago. Mom and Dad introduced us to Spruce Sands Trailer Park in 1968 and bought their own place in 1972. Mom would spend all summer with us at the lake. This is where we made lifelong friendships. We continue to enjoy our time at Spruce Sands to this day. Mom taught us the value of faith and undying love of family. We treasured many times travelling to visit family across Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and friends in USA. St. Stephen Anglican Church has been a big part of Mom's life. She started as a member in 1957. Mom was a very strong Christian and represented her diocese on many trips across Canada. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, January 19 at 2:00 p.m. Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberley Ave., Winnipeg. Presiding over her service will be her nephew, The Most Rev. Dr. John R. Clarke. A huge thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital on the N1 North Ward for their great compassion and care. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to St. Stephen's Church or Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice. This obituary may also be viewed at www.friendsfs.ca "Mom thanks for all you have done for your family. You are truly a special angel and we will miss you. "
