CLIFFORD WAYNE BARTH It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Cliff, on Saturday, January 19, 2019. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Olga, of 46 years, children, Brenda, Brent (Linda), Dean (Karen Colfer) and Delaine (Mark Russo), brother Irv (Bernie), sister Lori (Alex Muz), sister-in-law Audrey Couch, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Leontina and Edwin Barth, in-laws, Peter and Mary Peleshok, brother Norm, nephew Lester Barth, sister-in-law Jean Domitruk, and brothers-in-law, Steve Domitruk and Charlie Couch. Cliff was born on October 1, 1939 in Stony Plain, AB and lived in Edmonton, London, Calgary and finally Winnipeg for the past 40 years. Cliff's employment years were divided amongst accounting positions in the banking and dairy industries, business ventures as a dry cleaner and convenience store owner, and concluding his employment career in the Seven Oaks School Division as a much loved and appreciated school custodian. Cliff enjoyed singing, classical music, wood-working, gardening, and summers at the cabin at Winnipeg Beach. Most of all, he enjoyed time with his family and close friends. He travelled in recent years with Olga to BC to visit with Brent and Brenda's families. At home, Wednesdays and Fridays were his favourite days as these were times dedicated solely to spending time with his grandchildren. We would like to acknowledge the Winnipeg Fire, Paramedic and Police Services for their efforts to help Dad and their sympathy with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, and All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with The Rt. Rev. Protopresbyter William Wasyliw officiating.
