Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAZICK SHACHTAY September 13, 1928 - January 22, 2019 With great sadness we announce the passing of Kazick Shachtay on January 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Survived by his daughter Linda, son Wayne, respective grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne, nine siblings, and parents, Andrew and Agnes Shachtay. Kaz was born on a farm in Arborg, MB. Kaz retired from the City of Winnipeg and loved camping and fishing. This past year he enjoyed his day program and many new friends at Fred Douglas Courts. He loved tinkering in his yard and garden and was always helping his family and neighbours. His laughter and squeal from his hearing aids will be lovingly remembered. He was a great man. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
