Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Mr. Braun was a great teacher. I did not have a great singing voice but he made me an important part of the choir at MBCI. He created in me the importance of doing my best with the gifts I have. The confidence that he gave us was turned into action. We all improved because of his direction. I am so grateful for him. My sympathy to the family. - Posted by: Gordon Seier (Former Student ) on: Feb 12, 2019

  • He was one of a kind. They truly don’t have teachers like him today. Always new games each recess. Friendly enjoyable afternoon reflections. “ Genius 🎶 music “ teacher that appreciated talented students. If he was not inspiring he was replacing another broken music stick. We used to sing a choir song “Old Abram Brown”. As young talented grade 7 choir boys we’d sing it respectfully as old Peter Brown... A nice guy enjoying rewards. I am sure he’ll enjoy Heavenly Music. - Posted by: Corneilius O. (Student ) on: Feb 09, 2019

  • I remember Mr. Braun with great fondness as one of my favorite teachers at MBCI. Though it has been many years since that time, it was his love of music that allowed me to develop a love of my own for music. My thoughts and prayers to his family as they grieve. He will be missed by many but his legacy lives on. - Posted by: Shirley Rempel (nee Devuono) (Former Student) on: Feb 08, 2019
