JUDY STANKO (nee BESYK) May 22, 1949 February 12, 2019 After a long battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our wife, mother, Baba and friend. Left to mourn is her husband John; daughter Sherry (Ron Sheen); son Jason (Debbie); grandchildren, Justine, Kyle (Karagin) Sheen, Tyler and Brianna Stanko; three brothers, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to the St. Boniface Palliative Care staff. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 10:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Honourary pallbearers will be Kyle Sheen and Tyler Stanko. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or to a charity of one's choice. "VICHNAYA PAM'YAT"

Sorry for your loss John and family. I still remember us growing up as kids - you never changed. Still as tough as ever and a special lady. No matter what connection you had to Judy she was always first and foremost a friend. I have said over the many years I've known her that she will always be the greatest boss anyone could ever have the pleasure of working with. Thank you Judy for all the kind words you've said about me and for just being as good and kind as you wished others would be to you.
