  • Sincerest condolences to the McGill family. I had the pleasure of working with Ken at the Soil Testing Lab. He was a great boss and all around great guy. Always a great sense of humour and full of kindness. His love of his family was always apparent. He was truly passionate about our Saskatchewan Rough Riders as well. He will be in the cheering section with my Dad and Brother in heaven cheering loudly from above. Gods speed my friend.....may you Rest In Peace. You will be missed by many. • My deepest sympathies go out to Suzanne and the family. I have known Ken for over 40 years. We worked together in the Department of Agriculture and carpooled to Carman for 5 years. We enjoyed our 4:31s from Carman. He was a very loving and caring man. His family meant the world to him. I will miss him. Rest in peace Ken. - Posted by: Pat Vouriot (friend and former co-worker) on: Feb 25, 2019

  • So many memories flooded back to me when I heard of Ken’s passing. Working with him at the Soil Testing Laboratory for many years; the relationship the team had all part due to Ken’s extraordinary ability to bring people together, to acknowledge their successes, to encourage the development of new ideas, and processes. He was a man that put his family first, a man of compassion, honesty and empathy. Suzanne, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you. He will be forever in our memories.... • I first met Ken over 40 years ago when he hired me out of university as his secretary at the Prov. Soil Testing Lab. He was a supportive and positive role model, and a dedicated family man. Fast forward 20 years and our paths crossed again on a more professional level, this time in Carman. I will always remember his unique Fri. deadlines at the Lab and "bird watching" in the afternoon. Rest in Peace, Ken, it was always a pleasure. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Patricia Simcoe-Rosenbaum (Former Coworker) on: Feb 24, 2019

  • I had the great pleasure of meeting Ken and Suzanne several times when visiting my sister-in-law Valli in Cozumel. Ken was a wonderful dinner companion, full of fun and great tips for visitors to the island. I know that he has a great many friends who mourn his loss of kind and generous companionship. I send my deepest sympathies to all members of the McGill family, both in Canada and Mexico. Sincerely, Karen Fullerton - Posted by: Karen Fullerton (Friend) on: Feb 24, 2019
