DANNY HARRISON
February 2, 1959 - March 30, 2019

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Danny Harrison on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
He was predeceased by his parents, Léo and Emilia.
Danny is survived by his loving wife Claudette, son Daniel (Jen), daughters, Holly (Mike), Natalie (Dan), Melanie and Stephanie (Justin). He was a beloved Pata/Pod (Grandpa) to Emilie, Janelle, Kamie, Masen, Myah, Julia, Gavin, Morgan (Cody), Trinity, Ashlynn, Taylor, Dominic, Evan, Troy and Katelynn. Danny also leaves to cherish his memory a brother, two sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Danny was born February 2, 1959, and lived in Ste. Anne, MB most of his life where he and Claudette raised their family. He spent his working career as a truck driver in the construction industry. Danny had great pride for his family. Danny enjoyed to BBQ, tinker in his garage and had a love for animals, especially his late pets, Katie, Cody and Hunny. Danny held a special place in his heart for Claudette's daycare children.
He was an avid collector of vintage car and truck models, but his favourite pastime was family get-togethers, BBQ's and a cold beer.
Pata/Pod enjoyed his time with the grandchildren playing Lego, cards, toy trucks, bike rides, lawn tractor rides and walks to get sweet treats. Pata/Pod's memory will live on in his grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52W, Steinbach, MB. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
Danny was the one we all could count on for advice, a laugh and someone we knew we could go to when we were having a bad day. Don't worry Danny you taught us well, we will check the air, check the oil, wipe the lights, we got it from here.
