WALTER KATHLER

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Walter Kathler, at the age of 87 years.
Walter will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by is wife of 53 years, Cathy Kathler (nee Plett); children, Russ Kathler (Sylvi), Leighton Kathler (Donna), Shannon Dodd (Jeremy); and his five grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Natalie, Nathan, and Mitchell.
Walter was predeceased by four brothers, Peter, William, John, and Elvin; two sisters, Mary and Tina.
He leaves to mourn three brothers, Fred, Rudy and Art.
Family would extend their gratitude to all the staff at Pembina Place Personal Care Home for the compassionate care Walter received in his final days.
Viewing will be held Sunday April 7, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street.
Funeral service to be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winnipeg Harvest or Mennonite Disaster Services in Walter's name.
