HENRY STRECK SCHALLA
January 7, 1930 - April 11, 2019

With great joy and sorrow, we mourn the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He passed away at his residence, Rest Haven Nursing Home, Steinbach, MB. He wished for some time to be able to go "Home" to be with his Lord and Savior, and his loved family members.
He is survived by sons, Allen (Malvine Giesbrecht), Boyd (Donna); grandchildren, Stacey (Francois Lansard) Janel and Jeff Dupley; great-granddaughter Aubrey Lansard; sisters, Rosalina Guenther, Marlene Suderman, Emily (Ben Klassen); brother William (Tina).
Henry was predeceased by his parents, John W. Schalla and Nathalie Schalla (Streck); wife Anne Marie; brother Elvin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alvina and Freddie Freund, Gus Rosner, Helen and Phillip Roy, Mary and Emil Krentz, Pauline and John Reimer, Louise and Jake Falk; brother-in-law Abe Guenther; nephews, Wayne Freund, Larry Falk; and niece Lori Fiebelkorn.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 465 Henry St., Steinbach, MB, with Pastor Terry Gudmundson officiating. Viewing prior to the service.

Let it be our prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power
and the glory. for ever and ever.
