(nee MANCHUR)
1919 - 2019

Julia Landiak passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 14 (Palm Sunday) in her 100th year.
She was predeceased by her husband William, son William T., parents, Timothy and Tekla, and brothers, John, Michael and Peter.
Julia is survived by and will missed by her loving family: daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Eugene Statkewich; daughter-in-law Linda Landiak; grandchildren, Adam, Simon (Suchot), Naomi, Michael (Kirsten); great-grandchildren, Liam, River and Olena.
Julia was born in Winnipeg and lived her life in Fort Rouge, where her family had settled when she was a young girl, and where she attended Earl Grey School and graduated from Kelvin High. Her family were founding members of Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church where Julia remained a faithful member her entire life. Creative and artistic, Julia loved to knit and sew.
The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Misercordia Place for their compassionate care of Julia during the five years she resided there.
Prayers will be sung on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. and Divine Liturgy celebrated on Wednesday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m., both at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave., with Fr. John Mostivsky officiating. Interment at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Julia's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to CancerCare Manitoba is encouraged and appreciated.
