TAMARA REGINA (DRANEZ) LITSCHKE
May 3, 1932 - May 6, 2019

Our beloved mom, oma, sister, aunt, friend has left us, her body and mind ready for something else.
Predeceased by her mother Olga Danilow and father Grigori Dranez, husband of 48 years, Karl Litschke, brother Karl Dranez, sister-in-law Erika Dranez, sister-in-law Emma Dranez and son-in-law Nate MacIntosh.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Annemarie MacIntosh, son William Litschke (Bernice), brother Frank Dranez, grandson Andrew (Kanako) granddaughter Laura (John), grandson Gregory (Lyndsay) and great-grandchildren, Ray and Mio.
As a longtime, member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tamara always had a strong faith in God and that allowed her peace as she departed. She was a force of a woman, if you knew her, you knew this. She loved her family and friends really hard. Tamara endured many hardships as a child, so she made sure that her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren never had to.
A survivor of war, an immigrant, a care giver to the core, a seamstress, a dancer, a singer, a lover of food and wine. The best cook we've ever known. She cared for us all. We'll love you forever.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street, Winnipeg, with viewing prior to service. Interment at Brookside Cemetery.
Donations can be made to the MS Society of Manitoba or a charity of one's choice.

  • Condolences to Tamara's family upon her passing. Tamara was a very loved and valuable member of the North Y Senior's Club. For many years, she was the heart and soul of the group. Our sympathies. - Posted by: North Y Senor's (Swim) Club (club member) on: May 10, 2019

  • I will have many memories of your Mom as she was, in my eyes, one of my Tante's. She fed me often, we played cards often, and we laughed together even more. Sorry for you tremendous loss, may God Bless. - Posted by: Rolf Hitzer (Family friend) on: May 08, 2019
