I remember sharing good times as the drummer for Darrell and Marcel in the Sunrise band back in the eighties. Two of the best guitar players and singers I ever played for. A lot of good times and memories. Now they're finally reunited and playing for the angels! My condolences to family and friends. - Posted by: Doug (Friend) on: May 25, 2019

I remember meeting Darrell from my aunt Barb and he gave me the nickname shell-bird.. I remember a few winters when Barb asked Darrell to clean her windshield off and he was kinda mad about it and bickering while getting out of her van saying something under his breath, well anyways after he was done cleaning it he turned to come back in the van and had a mad face on he slip stepping on ice and ended up under the van only to stand up with a smile ear to ear trying hard not to show us that he was shy at all we had a good laugh along with Darrell. he was my uncle and my son's muncle - my son Markus could not say uncle at the time so he called him muncle - and bought Darrell a shirt that said #1 uncle and Darrell took it upon himself to use a marker to put his own m in front of the word uncle spelling # 1 muncle on the shirt.. Darrell was here for me and my kids for the last 3-4 years and I will never forget all the good times I had with him and my aunt Barb, love you forever uncle Darrell - Posted by: Shelley Courchene (Adopted neice (barb) ) on: May 12, 2019
