I remember Joe when he arrived in Saskatchewan Canada in 1948 with his family under the sponsorship of my father Steve Bodnar, uncle to Joe. Joe and his family came from England after WWII where he was part of the Polish Free Army. Joe, his wife Katie and little boy John lived with us for a while on our farm near Tadmore, SK until they accepted a more permanent position on a farm near Kamsack, SK. As a 10 year old I recall some of the stories Joe used to tell about the war and the impact it had on his and my father's familes in that part of Europe. Rest in peace, cousin Joe. - Posted by: Ray Bodnar (Cousin) on: May 14, 2019
