I remember Robert Asselin so well from my childhood. The Asselin lived a few houses away from the Levasseur on Bertrand street. Our 2 families played outside all the time. I was quite surprised to see Robert had passed on as he was a few years younger than myself and my older sister Cecile and brother Roger. We had good times together playing outside during the long summer hours. I was good friend with his older sister Jeannine and a younger one Yvonne who had a operatic voice and we’d make her sing for us. Those were the good old days. Being widowed myself after 50 years to a wonderful man, I offer my sympathies to his wife and children and his siblings. Robert looked very much like his father and he will be missed.
