MARY MANITOWICH
Mom was born September 22, 1925 in Poplar Park, MB.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Dokken and Donna and John Moore; sons, Douglas and Linda, Ronald of Calgary; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1990; her parents, Albert and Nellie Jablonski; her brothers, Carl and Edward; her sister Adeline Hocaluk; son-in-law Richard Dokken; daughter-in-law Mary Anne Manitowich; mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Pansy Manitowich.
At mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held.
Donations in her memory may be made to your favourite charity.

I'm so sorry that you lost your mom - she was the best......i often think of her and sometimes laugh at stuff she has said to me she would joke with a serious face but I caught on to her and she would then laugh or smile . she told me so many stories about the "old" days and her life. Oh, the memories of fun times with the Manitowich family - hide and seek after dark, potato roasts when they cleaned off the garden in fall, skipping double on the sidewalk, and so many more with this great family. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Mary's family and friends. Mary was my oldest first cousin. We were a large family at one time. I was thrilled to be Mary's flower girl when she married Peter. I was around 5 years old and have a few photos to remember this special day. I have fond childhood memories of family gatherings in Transcona and on the farm owned by Mary's parents, Albert and Nellie Jablonski.
