CAROLYN MARGARET CARRIER
(nee YOUNG)

With courage, dignity and love, Carolyn Carrier passed on June 14, 2019.
Carolyn followed her father and mother, Gordon and Loretta, and nephew Adam into the Heavens to watch over us all.
She leaves behind her rock and the love of her life, hero George. "Just like Lego, we snapped together and no one could separate us."
She also leaves brothers, Jim (Judi) and Robert (Lisa) and in-laws, Bill and Krys, niece Diana and nephew Charlie.
She also leaves her most valued friendship and sisterhood she held so dearly with Darlene March, and her BFFs (yes she finally figured what that meant) with Robert, Lilbeth, Chantel and Brittney Nygaard. These special friends were sent to Carolyn through the angels to make her last years just heavenly and especially to help her be calm and comfortable with just a hug, smile, or Darlene's famous good night texts every night made her cry in the morning.
Carolyn was a proud employee with Manitoba Housing for 28 years. She was set to retire, but pushed her retirement date back as she was proving support to all staff across the province on a new computer system and felt this would be a great opportunity for her to leave a legacy behind. Unfortunately cancer did not agree.
In keeping with Carolyn's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
At her request, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba and on every June 14, pay it forward with a small act of kindness whether it is holding the door open or just saying good day to a stranger.

"Carolyn, I am in awe of your strength
and humbled by your bravery.
Thank you for sharing your life with me.
I love you more than words can say
and more than you will ever know."
