Harry (from Kurian Forest Products) first met Gerald in 1968. We became very good, close friends, hauling wood from Point Dubois (Slave Falls) to Pine Falls. We usually hauled wood at night, but when needed, we hauled day & night. We were both in our 20s and Gerald was always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. There is an old saying "he died in the traces". Good bye, old friend. Our sympathies MaryAnn and girls. I don't know if they make men like that anymore. It is with a heavy heart that we hear the news of Jerry's passing. We will miss him terribly. All we have now are memories.
