TIMOTHY GORDON RICHARDS
July 1, 1961 - June 30, 2019

It is with great sadness the family announce the sudden passing of Tim Richards, father, grandpa, brother and friend.
Tim will be forever missed by his daughter Monique (James); his three grandsons, Keon, Carter and Colton; his two stepgrand-daughters, Jacqueline and Nicole; sisters, Teresa (Walter) and Tracey (Hudson); his brothers, Corey (Wanda) and Shawnne (Joyce). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and family, along with numerous friends.
Tim was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Jean; and his son Shaun.
Tim was a self-made entrepreneur who found success in all his endeavours. But of all his successes, his proudest achievement was that of being a wonderful father and grandpa. Tim loved spending time with his daughter, Monique and his grandsons.
Tim was an outstanding NHRA Division 5 drag racer with many wins under his belt, his passion and accomplishments for racing was well known in the Drag Racing community.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street at Mcbey Avenue.
"So, it is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to you Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother and Friend. We will miss you and love you forever. Be cool!"

  • As I read a eulogy at your service I looked around and truly saw how big you really are. Being a big brother means you are always looked up. Well by seeing all the people there many looked up to you. I made people cry, laugh and really reflect about the great person you are. The hardest this to do is say Good-Bye so I will say til we are together again. Hug and Kiss mom and dad and know thing will never be the same. I hope you are at peace and didn't suffer!!   • My wife and I are so sorry to hear of his passing and we are very sorry for the loss of a wonderful friend. I used to play poker with him and other friends at south beach and it used to be like a little family. He was always so lucky go happy.   • I met Tim thru a shared friend (Harry Alberg) and developed a business relationship with him and it didn't take long till I would call him a friend. I was totaly shocked to hear of his passing. You were way to young to leave us. We will all miss you as you just a super guy. My condolances to all who knew you.   • My Condolences to the Richards family and friends… My wife, son and I bumped into Tim while having breakfast at the big K a few months back... Tim told us of his property he had out of town. Stocked fishpond, geese and a small moose he had hanging around with his deer… Tim was so proud of his little moose he couldn’t get his phone out fast enough to show us a picture...
