GERRIT (BUD) WILLIAM QUINT
April 10, 1957 - July 7, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gerrit (Bud) Quint, husband, father, son and best friend.
He leaves to mourn his wife Trudy; daughters, Elizabeth and Alexandra; and his mother Patricia; as well as his aunts, Darlene and Wanda (Dennis); numerous cousins, nephews and nieces and very special friends, Kristi, Ron and Geri.
The family would like to invite you to come celebrate his life with us and learn what kind of person he really was behind his quiet exterior. Listen to stories about Bud and learn about his likes, dislikes and the music that he preferred. The service will be held on Monday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to STARS Air Ambulance Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • My heart is hurting for you Trudy, and of course your girls! Hoping that soon your memories will ease the pain of his passing. I cannot believe that Bud is gone! My favourite memory of Bud is when you moved to Besant Street and I knew I would never be able to find it! Bud gave me such a accurate detailed map over the phone that was as good as having him in the car with me! I always knew you were in great hands with Bud by your side! ❤️😥 - Posted by: Valerie (Friend) on: Jul 15, 2019

  • My deepest condolences to Trudy, Liz and Alex in the passing of your beloved husband and father. In time, this awful heartache that you are feeling will give way to a rainbow of wonderful memories that will comfort you along your journey ahead. His smile, the sound of his voice and his love for you will rest safely in your hearts forever. With "Hugs" whenever you need. Liz Armitage - Posted by: Liz Armitage (Friend) on: Jul 15, 2019

  • I remember working with Bud on numerous occasions. He was always willing to “go the extra mile” to ensure that whatever the problem we had at work, that we were taken care of. Bud was always very kind and fun to work with. Please accept my deepest condolences to the family and friends who knew this great man. - Posted by: Rick Lemieux (Former coworker ) on: Jul 13, 2019
