HILDA MATTHIES

Peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, Hilda Matthies died at the age of 91, in the home of her niece Mary, in Terrace, BC.
She is survived by sister Elizabeth Sawatzky; niece Mary Poage, who lovingly looked after Aunt Hilda; nephews, Johann and Alfred (Jolyn) Sawatzky; and several great- nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay, Winnipeg, with a reception to follow. Interment at Green Acres Cemetery.
