GLADYS (WLADYSLAWA) GONERA
May 11, 1922 - September 23, 2019
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is survived by daughter, Halina, granddaughters, Kim (Harry) and Michele, and great-grandsons, Colin and Devin.
Mom was born in Poland moved to Manitoba in 1950 with her family. She worked hard, loved gardening and berry picking and was a great cook - who over the years enjoyed time with friends and family and most of all Sunday dinners at her place.
The family would like to thank Fred Douglas Personal Care Home, especially Dr. Chung and staff on the Oak Ward for their compassionate and professional care over her short stay.
A funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg on Monday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a graveside interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, 520 Osborne Street.
If desired, donations in Gladys's memory could be made to a charity of your choice.
She will be dearly missed.

Sorry for your loss. What an incredible long life she led! Feisty for sure! I remember a week spent with her and Michele at grand beach when we were young. Eat eat and too fat! Lol she introduced me to her cucumber salad I love to this day. May she Rest In Peace..or maybe she is just as busy up there.
