ETHEL MAUD GODDARD
announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ethel Maud Gooddard, on October 8, 2019. Mom was born in Beausejour, Manitoba on January 15, 1920 to Wilamina Laurie and Percival James Laurie. Mom was an active community volunteer and amateur artist.
Mom is survived by daughters, Sharon Hodge and Patricia (Percy) Goddard-Marshall; daughter-in-law Annette Goddard; grandchildren, Laurie, Steven, Kristen, Diane, Roberta, Alan, Chris, Kenneth and their mother Elaine Schwartz, Janine and Nicole and their families as well as sisters Doreen and Joyce (Bill) and sister-in-law Marion. Mom is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by husband Alfred, infant son Alan, son Hugh and son-in-law Stan.
A special thanks to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for their excellent care of mother.
A Memorial Service will be held on
Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., at St. George's Anglican Church, 168 Wilton Street in Winnipeg with a reception to follow.
