Joyce will be fondly remembered by her sons, Jim (Simone) and Roy (Pat); daughter Linda (Bob); grandchildren, Steven (Chelsea), Stephanie (Kyle), Laurel, Heather (Tom), and Courtney (Steffan); and great-grandchildren, Raine and Ethan.
Joyce was predeceased by daughter Grace and husband Charlie.
Born in Winnipeg November 13, 1925, Joyce was the first of three children. Joyce grew up in St. James where she met and married Charlie Christie in 1947. They resided in St. James for 15 years before building a home in Lilyfield where they lived until 1987, returning once again to live in St. James.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge where Joyce was a resident for almost 15 years. Their care and concern were a great comfort to the family.
A private family gathering has been planned to celebrate Joyce's life.
