GUY HENRIE
Dad was predeceased by his father Gerard in 1997. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Lucille; his sons, Joey and Chris; and his daughter Sabrina; four grandchildren; brother Paul; and sister Lorrie; nephews and many friends.
Dad was born April 26, 1960 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Gerard and Lucille Henrie. Dad's family grew up on their hobby farm in Anola, Manitoba and later settled in Winnipeg.
Dad was a loyal father and son. He loved growing up on the farm, feeding the pigs and riding his horse Apache. Dad left high school to work alongside his father building houses across Manitoba. When he was 19, he began his driving career and went on to establish two transportation companies. In his early years Dad also spent time coaching kid's soccer and working with children and youth in the community and sat on a daycare board. He also enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing and with his children. Dad was a hard worker and provided for his family. He was always joking around and had a large collection of model cars, belt buckles and who knows what else!
Thank you to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care of Dad.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2019, at Transformation Community Church, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in trust for his children at any RBC branch.
