MABEL BROCKHILL
1919 - 2019
Mabel's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved to be surrounded by family and one would often see her just standing there,
taking them all in and absorbing the moment with a smile on her face. She will be forever known for her easy laughter, mischievous nose crinkle, and shoulder shrug. She loved her summers at the family cabin on Brereton Lake in the Whiteshell. There she spent her summers along with her grandchildren. So many fond memories and the stories of those days were told and re-told again with so much joy. Another great joy for Mabel was bingo. At bingo she had many friends and good times. She loved the social activity of the game and always looked forward to seeing her friends. Mabel lived at the Kiwanis
Village for 30 years and had many friends whom she adored, especially Maddy. Thank you Maddy for all you did for Mabel.

Grandma Brockhill left for heaven to tell our dad and our grandpa everything that they missed these past 18 years. She lived a beautiful and fulfilled life at 99 years old. She had zest, she was funny, had a outgoing personality, a laugh and a sense of humour that could light up any room! Fond memories of summer visits with her and grandpa in Regina and Winnipeg. Playing bingo and Nevada tickets at bingo halls with my grandma was always so much fun. We were blessed to have had so many childhood and adult memories with her. We were even more blessed that she remained a part of our own children’s lives. Give our dad and grandpa a huge hug from us. We are at peace that you are with your son and husband. We love and will miss you grandma. Xo Love your granddaughter and family, Krista heart - Posted by: Krista Brockhill Gates (Granddaughter ) on: Nov 19, 2019

Grandma was always such a perfect, beautiful, fun and amazing Grandma. From all my memories over Easter's and summers, her bringing me stuffed bunnies and buying my first record ... to being such an incredible great Grandma to my kids. They began to call her "The Great One" when she turned 99. I am so grateful to have the porcelain lemon figurine she had for as long as I can remember in her kitchen. It will be in my kitchen, always reminding me to keep smiling and make lemonade when need be! - Posted by: Shirley Chanyi (Granddaughter) on: Nov 18, 2019

Patsy, Jodi and David. My deepest condolences on the passing of Auntie Mabel. I loved the time spent, when we were much younger, at the lake with the family. Mabel always had a smile on her face and a laugh in her belly. Love and hugs to all. - Posted by: Kim Georgison (Great niece ) on: Nov 16, 2019
