Dick was a true racer and fiercely proud of his family. He never gave less than 100 per cent in all his endeavours If there is a Hall of Fame for Brooklands or Winnipeg Speedway, Dickie should be in it. His rehashing of the previous night's races were alway eagerly awaited at Speed and Custom where he was a reliable delivery and messenger expert.
