ROBIN JEAN LOISELLE

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robin Loiselle on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Raymond, of 31 years. She is also survived by her sister Lynda (Gary); sisters-in-law, Marguerite (Allan) and Carolynne; brothers-in-law, Robert and Roger (Jan), and their respective families.
She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth (Betty) and Gus Konefal; mother-in-law Rose; father-in-law Harvey; brother-in-law Joseph; and sister-in-law Charlotte.
Robin was born on August 25, 1952 and spent her early childhood in Winnipeg and then moved out to the farm in Arborg with her family. She then came back to Winnipeg and attended Red River Community College. She worked at ICG and then Winnipeg Transit for over 20 years, retiring three years ago. She formed many lasting friendships during this time. In her years with Ray and family she enjoyed travelling and cruising. In her spare time, she loved to make cards and do crafts. She loved picking interesting flowers for her flower beds. She loved cooking and watching cooking shows as well as Stephen Colbert,Trevor Noah, and Christmas movies.
Our thanks go out to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, 6 West Gynecology ward, palliative care, and CancerCare. We also thank all the home care workers for their care of Robin and Ray.
Respecting her wishes, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow in the spring.
Flowers are respectfully declined. Friends who so desire, may make donations in her memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation to be used for research.

She will be deeply missed by her family.

  • I was always greeted with a smile and a kind word every time I seen her. She shared recipes and put together a few Transit cookbooks over the years. I will always treasure them. • Loved this beautiful lady. Like many people she was the first person you dealt with when hired at Wpg Transit. When I was in my career as a Supervisor with Transit she was my go to lady for any information or direction I needed, she always had the answer. She was also a lovely lady and was willing to listen to whenever you had an issue. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Connie Tallaire (Co-worker) on: Dec 01, 2019

  • Robin went out of her way always to do for and help out everyone, she was like my sister and we talked about everything almost daily. She never let her problems be an issue and sort of brushed off her pain with the oh well it is what it is attitude. I and my family truly miss her and I'm sad to have lost such a great friend. - Posted by: Ron Enns (Long time friends ) on: Dec 01, 2019
