Where should I start? My daughter and I are heart broken to hear of Teds passing. Although we had a brief five year relationship, with Ted, you always felt that you were life long friends. I jokingly referred to Ted as our “bee whisperer”. His knowledge of bees was immense, and he was always willing to spend hours sharing it with you. We will never be able to extract a drop of honey without thinking of Ted, as this was his passion. He had a keen sense of humor, and had a unique way of letting you know if you were on the wrong track, and was always there to gentle nudge you in the right direction. We will miss Ted dearly...farewell my friend. - Posted by: Rod Lehmann (Bee mentor) on: Apr 07, 2020

I had the pleasure of working with Ted & Marianne over the years. Ted was a very kind man and had great qualities. I admired his passion for honey making and taking care of his bees. He was a handy person even with his age. I won't forget that smile! Rest in peace Ted. - Posted by: Michael Idone (Realtor) on: Dec 06, 2019

I met and sat with your parents @ a West St. Paul Sunova Centre Seniors get together a couple of years ago. A very lovely, loving couple! I'm sure he will be missed. My condolences go out to you and your family. hugs, Lorraine - Posted by: Lorraine Danielson (aquaintence of daughter, Barbara) on: Dec 01, 2019

Many months ago I had the pleasure of being one of the HomeCare workers to go in to look after Marianne. During that time I could see how thoughtful and dedicated to his wife Theo was. No task was too big or small for Theo to do for his wife. Theo was always very kind and respectful to me when I worked for them. Theo was indeed a kind, decent gentleman who did his best to make things easier and better for all of those around him and he always did it with a warm smile. - Posted by: Kim (Former HomeCare worker ) on: Nov 30, 2019
