J.P.R. (RUDY) LEBLANC
April 13, 1934 - November 30, 2019

It is with great sadness that we, his family, announce the passing of our father and grandfather.
He is survived by his children, Monique (Don), Quinn (Deborah), Margot (Blake), and Rachel (Ken), 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, and extended family and friends.
Rudy was married to Alfrey Pauline Carlson who predeceased him March 31, 2014.

Isaiah 53:6
"All we like sheep have gone astray, we have
turned everyone to his own way, the Lord
has laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all."

By God's grace, Rudy learned of his need for salvation in Jesus Christ shortly after being hospitalized in California in 1982 after going through a medical crisis, then recovering.
He later was water baptized in the Jordan River, Israel. Upon his return to Manitoba he retired on Lee River.
Earlier he was a Real Estate Broker for Marion Street Realty.
Rudy was a volunteer, teaching the Bible and praying for and with inmates at Milner Ridge Correction Centre and Stony Mountain Institution until his passing.

2 Timothy 4:7
"I have fought the good fight, I have
finished my course. I have kept the faith."

The Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Green Acres Funeral Home.

  • Rudy was a wonderful friend and partner. He was a consummate entrepreneur and could sell anything. He sold us on real estate and health supplements, but most of all he sold us on his wonderful family. He and Alfrey will always have a permanent place in our hearts.
