He is loved and will be sadly missed by his sons, Andreas (Chelsey) and Thomas, granddaughter Lyla, sister-in-law Polixeni, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of George's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).

These past five months were difficult for us all. You are a wonderful dad to our sons and a loving papu to Lyla. Your memory will live on through them. You and I had some good conversation these last months and we know that our sons did their best to make you comfortable during your courageous journey. You will be missed. Thank you George for being like a big brother to me as a teenager, and for being such a friendly and warm person to everyone you met. You were with me the last time I saw my mother and gave me a loving hug by her hospital bed. I am very proud of your sons and how they have been so attentive to you when you were in need these last few months. Wishing you well on your journey, now.
