Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Ann would concur: —A Step on the Road to Home— “When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little—but not too long, And not with your heads bowed low, Remember the love that we all shared, Miss me—but let me go. This is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone, It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, Bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me—but let me go.” - Posted by: Calvin E. Kendall, S.F.O. • The passing of a great lady is always a sad occasion. I was fortunate to have a fairly large family with lots of Aunts and Uncles. This particular Aunty has etched such fond memories that even with her passing, she will never be able to leave. Her smiles, hugs, laughter and sheer enthusiasm for the people around her formed a guide to the way I have tried to live my life. I have had very high standards to achieve. Thank you Aunty Ann for being so wonderful. Love forever Dennis - Posted by: Dennis & Pam Pistun (Nephew ) on: Jan 03, 2020

  • To my sisters Pat and Carol: Pax et Bonum. It was a blessing that Calvin and I were able to say goodbye—which means, God be with you—to Mom last Saturday evening. _____________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________ Carol, please get in contact with me sometime soon, we should talk. - Posted by: Betty-Lou (Louie) Kendall (Youngest daughter.) on: Dec 28, 2019
