GARY WAYNE ABRAM KLEIN

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the tragic loss of Gary Wayne Abram Klein, aged 54 years, on December 30, 2019.
Gary will be loving remembered by his girlfriend Norma; son Mitchell (Amy); brother Larry (Jen); sisters, Shirley (Bernie), Cindy (Blaine), Sherry (Darrell) and Jasmine (Matt); grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Keanna, Miley and Kyson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Gary was predeceased by his parents, Abe and Patricia Klein, and his beloved son Lance.
Gary grew up in North Kildonan in a large, loving family and later moved to Lockport. Gary attended Red River Community College and successfully obtained his Journeyman Plumber and Gas Fitter certifications. He was working as a supervisor at Keeyask at the time of his death. Gary had a strong work ethic and took great pride in the services he provided making many friends along the way.
Gary had a passion for the outdoors. He particularly loved hunting trips with his sons and brother, fishing on his new boat, camping and travelling. Gary was a very generous and loyal man especially with his sons and grandchildren. He also had a very special bond with his sibling group. He loved his family dearly. Gary need not be idealized, or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life; rather to be remembered simply as a good and decent man.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the North Kildonan Community Centre, 1144 Kingsford Place, Winnipeg.
