I just found this out! I've been thinking about you guys! I hope you are all okay! I had a stroke a couple of years ago but we're still good. I remember your Dad being a handsome man! - Posted by: Carole Osadchuk (friend) on: Apr 26, 2020

My sincere condolences to the Smook family, Bruce Sr was my father-in-law so many years ago, I’ll always remember him with so much love and respect as he was such a gentle soul, once he gave me a beautiful Xmas gift, a perfume called Ciara, which I still wear, every time I put it on I think of him, you were a wonderful man , RIP till we meet again. Our deepest sympathy to the Smook family. Mr. Smook was my father's friend as a child, an usher for his wedding, and a true friend during the life long years. We would all look forward to his visits as he had a skill of telling stories to keep your interest. Bruce's title to remembrance was his wit and humor. I recall him telling me as he was visiting with my mom; after my dad died; that "they didn't need a chaperone." He always brought a bottle of Mateus wine in which we had a glass with him on his last visit. We offer you our thoughts, prayers and well wishes during this difficult time.
