MICHELLE MARIE ANN NEUFELD
(nee PENNER)

Quietly and peacefully, Michelle Marie Ann Neufeld (nee Penner) passed away Sunday January 5, 2020 at Riverview Health Centre. Her courage and beauty was noticed by all as she battled a year with cancer. Michelle's faith was in the God who created her. God gave her the strength to do her journey with prayer and with the wisdom to take one day at a time. Her sweet life will forever stay with family and friends as conversations and memories will resurface time and time again. She will be missed more than the language of words can say.
Michelle was born April 8, 1975 and raised by her parents, George and Mary Penner of Morden/Kane. She grew up alongside her brothers, Kelvin and Corey.
Michelle is survived by her husband Terry and two sons, Caleb and Samuel. She is also survived by her parents, George and Mary Penner and her brother Corey and his wife Kathryn and their daughter Jocelyn; her parents-in-law, Gordon and Verna Neufeld; her brother-in-law Brad (Tracie), her sister-in-law Angie (Dwayne) and their children. Also left to cherish her memory are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michelle is predeceased by her brother Kelvin.
Michelle was passionate about her family. Together they experienced many special vacation times with Disney World being a highlight. She was actively involved and a cheerleader for her son's hockey practices and games. Her embracing heart created a special close bond to her family. Her friendly personality brought her many wonderful and close friendships. The neighbours around her were a supportive group that she often mentioned.
Come and Go visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. Family and friends are invited for refreshments following the service. Private interment will follow the service.

  • Terry, Caleb & Samuel & family, it is of sad heart that I am writing to wish my condolences. Michelle was a very special friend. We has so much in common and I will miss her deeply. Our paths have drifted apart but she was always a special person in my life. We work together at Versatile, we immediately became good friend and my daughter used to baby sit for Terry and Michelle on occasion. My heart goes out to you.
