1943 - 2020
He is survived by his two daughters, Amanda (Daniel) and Sheila (James); stepson Wayne; grandchild Thomas; two stepgrandchildren, Jennifer and Meghan; two brothers, Eugene (Elsie) and Robert (Shirley); two sisters, Diane and Eleanor (Bernie); many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Maurice was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth; parents, Harry and Effie; one sister Olga; and six brothers, Jarvis, Mike, Nick, John, Pete and William.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52W, Steinbach, MB.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Maurice can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
Special thanks to Dr. de Moissac and all the nurses at Ste. Anne Hospital, to everyone at Steinbach CancerCare and to everyone that took the time to talk and listen to his stories.
