JACOBUS (JAKE) KWAKERNAAK
May 28, 1939 - February 22, 2020

Our dear Jake passed away peacefully at the Health Science Centre after a two month struggle. He worked so hard to stay with us but it was not meant to be.
He left his dear wife Sophie; his daughters, Yvonne (Tony) and Jacky; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Shannon (Derek), Matthew (Kaitlin) and Anya; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Janelle.
The family would like to thank the staff at Medassist Hospital in Mexico, and the wonderful staff at GD3 Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for all their excellent care.
At Jake's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m., top floor of 220 Oakland Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
