JOCELYN MAE ROBBINS
(nee BRUCE)

Sadly we announce the passing of Jocelyn Mae Robbins (nee Bruce), on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the age of 86, surrounded by family.
Her memory will be cherished by her children, Sidney (Linda), Catherine and James (Karen); grandchildren, Sean (Taylor), Shayna (Thor), Kendra (Derrick), Brett (Anousone), Leah (Jeff), Carlie (Aaron) and Kara; great-grandchildren, Titan, Matthew, Blake, Paige and Carter; nephew Chad, and lifelong friends, Barb and Ed.
Jocelyn was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Mae, her loving husband of 60 years, Cecil, infant daughter Carol; brothers, Ted and Gil; sister-in-law Marj; son-in-law Ken, and great-granddaughter Ana Sophia.
Mom enjoyed knitting and her needlepoint pictures. She baked the best shortbread and had a friendly butter tart war with her brother Gil.
Mom and Dad travelled across Canada and the U.S. with their trailer, as well as Beauty Bay where they had a wonderful group of friends.

We love you and miss you Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. "What will be, will be."

A private family service will be held.

  • Jocelyn was a wonderful Matriarch of the Robbins family. She loved her family, and she was creative, a great baker, made beautiful needle crafts.   • I was Jocelyn's former housekeeper at Sterling House where she lived shortly. It was always a pleasure cleaning for her and she had a great personality. We had some good talks!
