Joseph is survived by his loving family, his sister Lucille; his children, Alan and Hilda, Donald, Mariette, Georgette and Lyle; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife Grace, his youngest son Lance, his parents, brother Mathias, sister-in-law Freda and brother-in-law George.
Joseph grew up in Letellier and moved to Winnipeg in 1942. He proudly served in the Navy during the Second World War on the ship HMCS Malpeck.
