FRANK RICHARD SORENSEN
His wishes were not to have a funeral
service, but to allow his family to remember him in their own way.
Frank leaves behind his son Elliott (daughter-in-law Eliana) and daughter
Roxanne; grandchildren, Gabriel, Amaya,
Lewis, Isaac; siblings, Laurie, Sheldon, Miles; partner Colleen.
He will be remembered by those who knew him as a quiet, calm person who appreciated good times, many a laugh, and listening to music. He was easygoing and made friends near, as well as far through technology.
In his recent years, he became bedridden and though there were some trying times, he seemed to light up when he had visitors. When his health was good, he loved being around his grandkids and making them laugh. He was able to enjoy some memorable trips with his son and his family. He also enjoyed time in conversation and playing games with his daughter, which she cherished greatly. He was a great listener.
Frank was always keeping up on current events either on TV, online, or in the
newspaper. His mind was kept sharp through games such as crossword puzzles, Scrabble and Cribbage. And everyone knew well he loved watching his favourite football team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, since he grew up in Saskatchewan.
Though he struggled with health problems in his later years, he put up a good fight and endured to his last breath. We will remember you always with love, Dad and Grandpa!
