Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I met this fine lady over 41 years ago. I wined and dined with her and Jack on many occasions and at times, would ask if I brought my guitar. If I hadn't, she would be disappointed. She loved to sing the oldies, so I was aware and most times had the case in the van. Many times she would provide a sleep over to prevent my driving under the influence. She was a kind and considerate human being and I will miss her smile and exuberance. I love you and will not forget. - Posted by: Orest Zaretzky (Friend) on: Apr 19, 2020

  • Our condolences to the family. Shirley and Jack were very good neighbours, it was nice to back and visit them when we could. Shirley was very welcoming to us when we moved in next door. I had an emergency one time where my daughter got hurt and she came over right away when she saw the ambulance come. She made sure I was okay as I was in distress. Later on that night. She came over that night after work to check on us. I never forgot her kindness. Love from all of us. - Posted by: Brent, Deborah and family (Friends) on: Apr 11, 2020

  • Our sincere condolences to Jack and families. Shirley was such a kind and pleasant person, with a great sense of humour. She was personable and friendly, always had time to visit and was genuinely interested in others. We are very sad to hear of her passing.
