I was 19 years old, looking for a break from university and a service opportunity. Somehow Sister Agnes heard about me, came forward and offered me a place to live. I ended up spending a year living and working with her in Swan River. Sister Agnes worked tirelessly for each community she served, looking for the stranger to help. She could often be found driving country roads, visiting someone who was sick or alone, gathering up overlooked children for catechism or to prepare for the sacraments, sharing a smile and a prayer. Grateful for your eternal prayers Sister, may you rejoice in peace of Christ. - Posted by: Monica Curtis (Friend) on: May 03, 2020

I have very fond memories of Sister Jolicoeur. She was my teacher at the Jardin de LāEnfance in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. I am guessing in 1945/46. She was so very young and so very sweet. She was also very kind with a big heart. Rest In Peace dear Sister. - Posted by: Guy Hamel (Former student) on: Apr 19, 2020

Sorry to hear about Sister Agnes, she was my grade 9 school teacher in Carman, MB. And she lived with my grandparents, I visited with her lots, and have kept in touch since. - Posted by: Debbie (Former student ) on: Apr 19, 2020

Sister Agnes was instrumental in her works during her time in the parish of Immaculate Conception (Fisher Branch). She made numerous visits to our home, made connections with our elderly parents and our young children and shared her gift of faith with those in hospitals and Personal Care Homes. She was respected and loved by people of all denominations. We will miss you dearly. Rest in peaceš - Posted by: Real & Carla DesJardins (Friends) on: Apr 19, 2020
