I am sending my condolences to the family of Rocco Filleti. I first met Rocco back in 1988 when I applied as a part-time waitress at La Dolce Vita on Portage Ave. Many good memories were formed there as well as friendships and Filleti families. Rocco had a good sense of humor and having his own ways of pronouncing words and names made the stories all the more hilarious. Rocco was a gentle soul and would help anyone who needed help. His ala Carbonara was my favorite pasta dish. He once gave me a curious look when I started singing in my broken operatic soprano "O Sole Mio". I guess he didn't think a french girl would be familiar with Italian Opera. Anyhow, Rocco will be greatly missed by all. Rest in peace dear friend.
