January 15, 1930 - May 8, 2020
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Tim Schouten), Lori Whiteway (Dean), Linda Roberton, Jamie (Mona) and Robert (Cheryl Binning); grandchildren, Kristjan (Maria), Jon (Julianna), Stefan (Leah), Christine (Jason), Jesse and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Rowyn, Iris, Kennady and Tyson. Aunty Nette will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings, son-in-law Mark, grandson Scott, and great-grandson Remy.
Jeanette had a fierce spirit, unforgettable laugh and a passion for ideas, politics, books and family. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook, a gardener, baker, knitter, curler and golfer. She loved hosting family gatherings, was active in politics and inspired her children to make the world a better place.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge who took such loving care of Mom.
A celebration of Jeanette's life will be held when the family is able to gather in her memory.
