RAYMOND (RAY) REMILLARD
October 17, 1939 - May 21, 2020

It is with deep sorrow, love and fondest memories that we watched a strong, beautiful heart stop beating.
Raymond's memory will be cherished by his wife and soulmate Annette (Fouasse), of almost 55 years; children, Darcelle (Sean Mullan), Stéfan (Sheilagh Romanec) and Réjean. Pepére adored his four grandchildren, they were his pride and joy, and he will be missed dearly by Rayanne and Randy (Mullan) and Megan and Erin (Remillard). Ray will also be missed by many relatives and friends.
He was so proud of the cottage he built in St. Malo; it was HOME to him, and he was fortunate to be there just days prior to his hospitalization. Dad loved sports and spent hours watching hockey and football. As much as he could, Pepére loved attending and cheering on his grandchildren at their sports and school activities. He was a very hard worker, kind, always willing to lend a hand and was admired by many for all his selfless acts.
Ray retired from the City of Winnipeg in 2000. His retirement was spent gardening, relishing in his love of nature and travelling, especially cruising to Hawaii, Alaska, the Caribbean, French Polynesia and France. Travelling to Churchill via train was another trip he was able to check off his bucket list.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be most appreciated.
