Peacefully on June 4, 2020, at the Grace Hospital, Elon Worrell passed away at the age of 76.
Elon was predeceased by his mother Doreen. He will be sadly missed by his loving son Elon JR. (Adelia), and daughter Sonia (David); also, his three granddaughters. Elon will be remembered by his sister Patricia and his friends from Winnipeg, Calgary, and Barbados.
Born in St. Thomas, Barbados, he immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967. He held several jobs before moving to Calgary, where, he worked as a machinist for 26 years. After he retired, he moved back to Winnipeg to be with his son and granddaughter. He enjoyed listening to music, playing dominoes, and watching sports, especially cricket.
A celebration of Elon's life will be held at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on June 13, 2020.
Elon's family thanks Grace Hospital for their warmth and care.
