LINDA MCFADYEN
(nee ANDREJOWICH)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda McFadyen (nee Andrejowich) on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the age of 69.
Linda was born on February 12, 1951 to parents, Walter and Frances (Bukowski) Andrejowich. Linda grew upon the family farm in Cooks Creek with siblings, Walter, Pat, Ray and Janice. Like many of her age, she worked hard on the farm, be it helping with the vegetable garden, milking cows, or looking after the chickens.
Linda married her soulmate Carmen in 1971 and had two sons, Myles and Vance.
City living was not for Linda and shortly after Vance was born, the family moved to their own piece of paradise near Ste. Genevieve, where Linda had her own chickens to look after and grew her own vegetables. Linda was an amazing cook. She enjoyed making special family meals for Christmas and Thanksgiving. She was famous for her perogies – they were single bite size and were filled with love. When she undertook perogy making, she would make hundreds at a time and give many away to family and friends.
Linda was a talented knitter and many have been gifted with afghans, socks, scarves and baby sweaters. Linda was still knitting and enjoyed contact with her knitting group on her last day.
Linda is survived by her loving and devoted husband Carmen; her sons, Myles and Vance; brother Ray Andrejowich; sister Janice (Walter) Klassen and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, special aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; sister Pat; nephew Yuri and brother Walter.
A private family viewing was held at Cropo Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 19. Private Inurnment will take place.
