BRIAN ROBERT LEATHLEY HAY
Brian was predeceased by his wife Jane and father Ted. He is survived by sons, Blair (Kelsey) and Graeme (Ashley); mother Grace; brothers, Jim and Rick, of Calgary, and Frank (Carolyn). He is also survived by his niece Alison (John), and nephews, Brent (Yolanda) and Cam (Elissa), and their children. He will also be missed by his uncle Ted Pattinson (Joan) of Calgary, aunt Rae Pattinson of Milwaukee, and first wife Margaret.
Brian was born in Gladstone, MB on February 27, 1953, the fourth son of Ted Hay and Grace Pattinson. He grew up on the family farm in the Austin district and moved to Winnipeg in 1966, with the family. After spending a few years in Calgary he moved back to Winnipeg, where he spent his career at Manitoba Hydro.
His happiest days were spent at the cottage at Falcon Lake with immediate and extended family. There was a special place in his heart for the Hay Family Castle, Delgatie, in Scotland.
A celebration of Brian's life will be announced at a later date, when we are safely able to come together.
In the meantime, Brian's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by visiting his tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew him, are available there.
